  • SIAI Summits Introduction

The SIAI Summits are the flagship global gatherings of the Swiss Institute of Artificial Intelligence (SIAI) — designed as high-level intellectual forums where research, strategy, and institutional power converge.
Each summit explores how artificial intelligence reshapes decision-making, markets, and governance, bringing together a curated network of executives, academics, policymakers, and investors across four world capitals.

Held quarterly across Tokyo, Zurich, London, and Dubai, the summits rotate between two thematic pillars — AI/Finance and AI/Tech — ensuring a balanced dialogue between theory and application, reflection and execution.

Global Calendar

  • March – Tokyo: AI/Tech Summit
Focused on emerging technologies, computational systems, and industrial AI strategies shaping East Asia’s innovation ecosystem.
Tokyo hosts dialogues on machine learning architectures, generative AI, and digital industrialization, bridging Japan’s engineering tradition with SIAI’s European research philosophy.
  • June – Zurich: AI/Finance Summit
Set against the intellectual and financial backdrop of Switzerland, the Zurich Summit serves as SIAI’s academic and institutional centerpiece.
The event brings together economists, data scientists, and financial leaders to discuss quantitative governance, algorithmic markets, and systemic stability in the AI age.
  • September – London: AI/Tech Summit
Rooted in Europe’s global capital of finance and innovation, the London Summit explores the intersection of AI entrepreneurship, regulation, and institutional design.
Participants engage with European and transatlantic perspectives on technological governance, public–private collaboration, and the future of corporate AI leadership.
  • December – Dubai: AI/Finance Summit
The Dubai Summit anchors SIAI’s presence in the Gulf region, focusing on AI-driven financial strategy, sovereign innovation, and capital intelligence.
It serves as both a culmination of the annual cycle and a strategic bridge between European intellectual capital and Middle Eastern investment power.

Purpose and Design

The SIAI Summits are not commercial conferences; they are institutional dialogues designed to build a global architecture of trust, analysis, and intelligence.
Each event convenes a limited number of participants — typically 40 to 80 — to ensure depth of exchange and strategic coherence.
Programs combine keynote sessions, closed-door research briefings, and reflective dialogues hosted in historical or architecturally significant venues, from Zurich’s classical estates to London’s academic halls and Tokyo’s cultural centers.

The summits are structured to embody SIAI’s founding ethos:

“AI is not just a technology — it is a mirror of institutional intelligence.”

Participants and Network

Summit participants represent a cross-section of the world’s analytical and institutional elite — executives from finance and technology sectors, senior policymakers, researchers from leading universities, and members of SIAI’s Executive AI MBA cohort.
Through the MDSA oversight framework and GIAI research network, the Summits connect theory with practice, ensuring intellectual rigor without sacrificing strategic utility.

Every summit also feeds into the GIAI Knowledge Cycle — a continuous process through which insights are synthesized into white papers, policy notes, and confidential intelligence briefings distributed through The Economy and The Economy Secret platforms.

Vision

The SIAI Summits are designed as the institutional calendar of the AI century — quarterly milestones that map how the world’s decision-makers learn, adapt, and align around the most transformative force of our time.

By uniting finance and technology, academia and leadership, Europe and Asia, the Summits serve as a living ecosystem of intelligence, shaping not only how AI is built, but how it is governed, invested in, and understood.
